Abstract:

Article reports on a study that demonstrates that men and women experience different cognitive, emotional, and vocational outcomes following traumatic brain injury (TBI). Study evaluated differences in injury severity, demographics, neuropsychological abilities, and vocational and financial outcomes for 78 people with TBI who received vocational rehabilitation. Limitations of the study and the significance of the results are discussed in detail.
