Abstract:
Paper summarizes findings from studies examining the role of age at injury on the rehabilitation outcomes of patients with spinal cord injury (SCI). Article presents information patient characteristics, treatment, and outcome variables, including demographic factors, lengths of stay, treatment charges, neurological outcomes, functional outcomes, and discharge disposition. This information may assist in determining the appropriateness of a referral to inpatient rehabilitation.
