The New England Regional SCI Center Model System Seeks Participants for a Health Care Provider Survey

SCI Model Systems Research Study

The New England Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center (NERSCIC) Model System has created a brief online survey to identify primary health care providers who deliver an excellent health care experience for people with SCI. One of the goals of the survey is to find out whether individuals with SCI have seen someone in family practice, physiatry, mental health, internal medicine, or SCI-related specialty care.

The survey is anonymous and participants are encouraged to complete the survey as often as needed to provide feedback on new or additional providers. Feedback from the survey will be used to create a list of clinicians in the New England area (Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont) who do a good job of caring for people with SCI. The resulting list of “SCI-friendly providers” will be made available to consumers and providers in New England. For hard copies of the survey or for more information, please contact Judi Zazula MS, OTR/L at judiz@bu.edu or 866–607–1804 (toll-free).
