Elizabeth Roy Felix, PhD
Co-Project Director- South Florida Traumatic Brain Injury Model System
Dr. Felix is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Miami and a Research Health Scientist at the Miami VA Hosptial. Her research is primarily focused on evaluating the mechanisms responsible for chronic pain in rehabilitation patient populations, including spinal cord injury (SCI) and traumatic brain injury (TBI), using psychophysical methodology. She is the Co-Project Director of the South Florida TBI Model System, overseeing both National Database data collection and dissemination efforts of the TBI Model System, as well as being the PI of a pilot study on pain measurement in people with TBI and cognitive impairment.
