Leslie Morse, D.O.

Dr. Morse is the Medical Director of Research at Craig Hospital and Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado, Denver. Dr. Morse is a rehabilitation medicine specialist and a clinical SCI researcher. She is an established expert in disuse osteoporosis. Her work focuses on identification of novel biomarkers and testing emerging therapies to treat disuse osteoporosis. She is the PI of two active DOD-funded clinical trials, both focused on SCI-induced osteoporosis. She has extensive experience directing NIDILRR SCIMS as the former Program Director of the Spaulding-Harvard SCIMS (Boston). She was recently nominated to serve as a Bone Metabolism Specialist on an Institute of Medicine committee for NASA on human health risks. Dr. Morse has an extensive teaching and presentation history, both nationally and internationally. She is the Chair of the International Spinal Cord Injury Fracture History Extended Dataset work group.
