Project Director - Midwest Regional Traumatic Brain Injury Model System

Elliot J. Roth, M.D. is the Paul B. Magnuson Professor and Chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chairman of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and Interim Medical Director of the Brain Injury Medicine and Rehabilitation Program at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), where he also previously served as former Senior Vice President and Medical Director. He is Project Director of the "Midwest Regional Traumatic Brain Injury Model System" and the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Stroke Rehabilitation, based at RIC and funded by NIDRR. He also leads several other research projects, funded by Federal agencies and private foundations, primarily focused on neurorehabilitation. He has served on numerous national panels. Dr. Roth is actively involved in patient care, teaching, research, program leadership, and community service.
