Data Collector - New Jersey TBI Model System at JFK-Johnson Rehabilitation Institute
Kathleen Carey has worked for the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute for 22 years. After graduating with her Masters degree from Kean University, Kathleen spent 17 years working as a vocational therapist, assisting individuals with TBI in resuming employment. In addition to her therapist duties, she assumed the role of Clinical Service Supervisor for the Community Re-entry disciplines, overseeing a staff of vocational therapists, recreational therapists and educational specialists. For the past 5 years, she has been in the role of data collector at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, conducting all Form ll follow-ups for the TBI Model System Research Study. She is also Form l certified performing acute chart reviews.
