Abstract:
Article presenting preliminary data on community reintegration of a sample of 31 individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI). Survey participants were asked about employment status, transportation, participation in community events, need for assistance with activities of daily living, and utilization of community services and resources. Results revealed relatively few issues affecting return to work and community reentry that are disproportionately problematic.
