Abstract:
Longitudinal study of the impact of the marital status of persons with spinal cord injury (SCI) on general quality of life, depression, stress, and community integration. Participants were 225 individuals with long-term SCI. Results suggest that even when controlling for age, duration of injury, and sex, marital status was a significant predictor of perceived life satisfaction and quality of life.
