Abstract:
Representatives from 13 home-based community integration programs for adults with brain injury were interviewed regarding program characteristics and outcomes. Respondents were program directors or other staff familiar with all aspects of the program. Analysis of the data showed considerable variability in the programs' characteristics. Areas in which significant variability could determine outcome differences included: client population, amount of time spent in meetings, time spent with clients' families, and length of stay.
