Abstract:
Case study illustrates the diagnosis and treatment of Charcot shoulder joint. Describes the history, examination, diagnostic work-up, and intervention for a 36-year-old man with degenerative disease of the spine and cervical syringomyelia who presented with weakness and numbness in his left upper extremity. A history of the condition and diagnostic and treatment options are discussed.
