Abstract:
In concordance with the priority of assessing long-term outcomes, we are positioned to collect data on over 1300 individuals at 5, 10, and 15 years post-burn in the next 5 year-cycle. Based on recent enrollment statistics during the last BMS funding cycle and our annual admission rate of over 900 patients, we anticipate an annual longitudinal database enrollment of at least 50 subjects/year with assessments at discharge, 6 months, 12 months and 24 months amounting to over 700 assessments during the 5-year cycle.
